Abstract

A sociological overview of Chile today is delivered, its current social crisis,
the result of the radicality in this society is the privatization of social
life. Thus, synthesizing previous works, it is argued that the crisis of
Chilean advanced neoliberalism finds its causes in the incubation of the
neoliberal turn itself, which reaches almost five decades, and that transforms
the economic model and forms of business accumulation, as well
as the set of social structure and the prevailing pattern of social conflict.
In short, an accumulation of social and cultural contradictions different
from those of Chilean society of the last century, which today feed new
social and political problems.
