Analysis of Individual Adaptation Process to Organizational Environment

Abstract

In order to understand the process of the adaptation of the new
technicians in the social group at R & D area, multiple case study
was conducted in three industries, using nine in-depth interviews
and analysis of the narratives. Companies have in common a focus
on innovation and the characteristics of the three initial phases of
the structuring process groups: organization, patriarchalization
and need of sharing knowledge. The fourth stage indications
were perceived in some subgroups, which characteristics of
more intense social interaction provide the establishment of
stronger social relationships and greater internal cohesion. It
was perceived that factors of individual nature facilitated the
approach of individuals, promoting cohesion and the creation of
its own organizational culture.
